While it may have seemed like my ill timed meltdown was a ride ruining shit bomb, it was actually divine intervention. My implosion delayed Shane's arrival at Scores and some Joey Buttafuoco look alike had beaten him to the punch. Now he is stuck focusing on Coco. Doing the lords work,. The real bite is now I have to work this weekend and will miss Daisey from Rock of Love at Woodys. :(. More work to do.

It was the day before Easter, so knowing that most people were going to be forced into family obligations, angry motorists seemed like a realistic thing to encounter. His story was quite plausible. There is a lot going on at SmottCo. new addition to the family coming any day now, new job, etc. SO needless to say - most of you probably have already anticipated my excuses. The good news it that its late august in chicago and that lends to a whole new Buzz in the air. Yep - its Cross season!

Generally I have hung up commuting and rely on the odd weekend ride to get any time in. I've been glad to push a few degrees colder and still enjoy some really nice afternoon rides home. ( thanx Pete! I'm still protesting the trainer, but it's now set up and ready for me to haul my carcass out of bed in the mornings.
