Monday, 29 December 2014. Mundane monday - # 47 - my favourite five from this year. Wow somehow this year has already wound down and we are at the last monday of 2014 . This has been a year that makes me glad its ending. less said about the year, the better. so goodbye 2014 - you started on a good note, and am grateful for the handful happy days you brought, but im so glad its time to bring down the curtains on you. I am using a Sony H20. From the fall of 2009. nope, not a dslr. (before that i was using a panasonic lumix for a few years, which was even more limited in its scope.) this is my camera -. Its my philosophy that beauty exists in the simplest things all around us. you just need a keen eye, an open mind, and an attitude to stop and smell the roses. i began the mundane monday. Highs and lows, up and downs. in many ways life is like a ferris wheel. where your position changes from high to low in a blink. where the view keeps changing. where its as much pointless to worry about the lows, as it is to gloat over the highs, and the only thing one can do is to enjoy the ride, as a whole. Thursday, 18 June 2015. Throwback thursday - TBT #13. On june 18th, 1928, amelia earhart would become the first woman to have flown across the atlantic ocean. the flight departed from newfoundland (on june 17th) and arrived at the welsh coast more than 20 hours later, braving risky weather. Amelia earhart accompanied two other pilots on this flight and kept the flight log. her own solo flight across the atlantic would happen four years later, in 1932. Image source - the new york times. There are so many varieties of fried sweets and savoury snacks, that even if you have been living in india your whole life, you probably wouldnt have tasted them all. each state and region has so many varieties of its own. Thursday, 9 July 2015. Throwback thursday - TBT #15. On 9th july 1877, the first wimbledon tournament. Began - at the 'All England Croquet and Lawn Tennis Club' in wimbledon, london. The program of the first wimbledon is below, announcing the players, the prize money, and the dates. the original date of the finals was to be 16th july and was later postponed to 19th july due to rain. July 12, 2015 5:36 pm. But then they werent reliant on people sitting in front of TV and schedules seem to have so much flex.
