In the link I share below, there are numerous pictures speaking volumes about Lebanon, the civil war and the Lebanese. I won’t say much; the photos will do the talking – and screaming. The video shared includes, along with the photo series, a song sung by renowned Lebanese singer Majida el-Roumi. The song is called. Oh Beirut) which, in my opinion, is one of the most beautiful songs ever.

Not many of you know I graduated this summer semester from university with a Communication Arts degree, emphasis on journalism. For my senior project, I filmed a short report where I shed light on the plight of special needs people in Lebanon. I submitted this short, 8-minute video to al-Akhbar English and the guys there also posted it on their Arabic site. You can watch the video here.
