Let no one ignorant of Geometry enter here. Sunday, September 04, 2005. I have a few complaints to make. It's such a shame that there's such high attrition in the ranks of those who have the moral strength and energy to do what needs to be done. An even bigger problem than the decay of role models is the loss of mentor/protege relationships, which are very helpful to both sides of the relationship. Do we donate time, food, or money? Is there any chance for economic recovery? We aren't seeing the big pict...

Let no one ignorant of Geometry enter here. Friday, September 16, 2005. A bit of background for those non-Tarheels among us:. Naturally, she was fired. Ann Coulter (who the columnist quoted in the story a couple times) put her on her website, and now the story is all over the internet. Misled, Out of Context. Justification for the Firing. Just passing by your blog and though you'd like this website. I really enjoyed your blog. This is a cool Website. Check it out now by Clicking Here. Nano Superlattice T...

Let no one ignorant of Geometry enter here. Saturday, April 30, 2005. Like vultures circling a carcass. Click this link. It'll let you make a nice rich guy give food to starving people. I'm not quite sure how this works. They call it a virtual march, which doesn't make much sense to me, but if it's a big enough deal that John McCain is in on it, it must be something. I don't know of anything else like this. Any other links that should be here? Powered by TagBoard Message Board.

Let no one ignorant of Geometry enter here. Sunday, July 31, 2005. I suppose it's only proper that I give some background on the great state of Michigan. Michigan's biggest city, obviously, is Detroit, with Grand Rapids the second most populous, followed by Flint, Ann Arbor (where The University of Michigan is), Lansing, and East Lansing (where Michigan State is) in no particular order. As for Michigan politics, the big issue now is the budget deficit. The previous governor (a Republican whose name I...

Let no one ignorant of Geometry enter here. Thursday, September 08, 2005. A man can only hear conservatives tell fools that the government's money really belongs to the taxpayers so many times before all his thoughts bitterly turn to vengeance. Since the lake and cinderblock approach is so passe, I resort to the simple solution of writing a short, nasty blog post about them. If the government's treasury belongs to the taxpayers, does the debt also? Or we could start paying down the debt with part of the ...

Let no one ignorant of Geometry enter here. Sunday, September 04, 2005. Let me clarify something. I realize that it is normal for college students to drink once in a while, and that when done properly, it can be harmless and fun. I do not choose to participate in it because I am not comfortable with relinquishing self-control, and I do not hold it against people who enjoy the occasional drink. Let no one ignorant of Geometry enter here. Wednesday, June 29, 2005. You know how when you do a google search it puts relevant ads off to the right? http://obsessedwithmath.blogspot.com/2005_09_01_archive.html
Let no one ignorant of Geometry enter here. Monday, September 19, 2005. Here's a problem with the No Child Left Behind Act: it exacerbates the unreasonable emphasis placed on math and literature. Yes, believe it or not, I am supporting a reduced focus on math in schools. Here's why. The mission of public schools is to provide Americans with the education they need to be effective citizens of the nation, right? How does having read Shakespeare or Chaucer help accomplish this goal? Watson is right when he ...
