Into the East

Sunday, March 18. About 1,5 hour flight north from Yangon we had our other launch symposium. Only spent a day here but was lucky to be able to see some of the local sights and history. Amazing city it was! Warmly recommend to spend 1-2 days here. First place of interest was U Bein's Bridge a bit outside the city in prefecture called Amarapura. One of the most amazing sunset I've seen. A loooong wooden bridge stretching over the swamp. Beer seldom taste this good. Get your lucky ticket from this guy.

Thank you Laakso for introducing this wonderful thing about 20 years ago :) Still remember we watched Spirited Away at your parents place followed by N64. Good old days! And thank you Mona soooooo much for getting these tickets :):):) There was no photography allowed inside but I manage to sneak one picture at least. Working a late shift.

Into the East: January 2015

http://enteringtheworld.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html

Wednesday, January 21. Day cruise to Tallinn, again! Another day of walking around Old Tallinn, beautiful city. Too bad that all the roads were covered in slush and after walking for a bit our shoes were completely wet and soaked. Had to take off my socks and dry them in restaurants. Rain boots would have the choice of shoes for this day.So much better to come here in the summer. Tunnel continues but from this point it's no entry until next year. KGB Museum in Viru Hotel. View from Viru Hotel 25th floor.

Into the East: October 2014

http://enteringtheworld.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html

Thursday, October 30. Reaching India for the first time. Saw this before getting on the place in Philippines. It's my second phone model that I had.and that's 17 years ago! Still going strong here. Bye bye you beautiful Island groups. Love the Changi airport. Almost like a temple, and the price was a steal too. Cheap here. Now THIS is a dining room! I wish Shanghai would have a lot of outdoor pools too. It feels like anywhere in South East Asia they have a pool outdoor! Dessert was on fire, literally.

Into the East: June 2015

http://enteringtheworld.blogspot.com/2015_06_01_archive.html

Tuesday, June 30. Bangkok - Smiles, Temples and Sunshine! Anyway, Bangkok is one of the cities in love most in Asia. Food is great, it's always warm, people are friendly, prices cheap, beautiful beaches at islands and it never sleeps! This time was no exception. It was a different kind of midsummer! But from what I heard from you people back home, not very warm.We had sunshine and 34! Few hours late flight, airport a bit messy on arrival and bag roll just exploded :D. Dinner at "The Deck" was amazing!

Into the East: Good morning Vietnam!

http://enteringtheworld.blogspot.com/2015/07/good-morning-vietnam.html

Thursday, July 23. Back to this big but still, low city. There are not that many skyscrapers here yet, or so I thought. Found out that just outside downtown there is an observatory deck on the 72nd floor. Great view over the city, it's growing fast! If you don't have passion in what your doing. It will probably fail or then just not succeed. Love what you do. There was a 5D exhibition from Korea up in the tower. Pretty cool, I came eye to an eye with. The Ring. Busy busy night market. Haha, real or fake?

Entering the Stream | Discussing the cooperation of Buddhist teaching, meditation practice, and Life as a vehicle to Awakening.

Discussing the cooperation of Buddhist teaching, meditation practice, and Life as a vehicle to Awakening. December 28, 2014. Form is Empty of Essence. These forms have provided a refuge for the self-preserving psyche throughout the years, in a very cyclical pattern. Some things trigger this. Recently I had strep throat, that left me with little sleep at night. This disrupted my meditation times and practice, as I had a very hard time with mindfulness, while my mind was beyond fatigued.
