Friday, May 28, 2010. The contents of my car. Balls One old cracked broomball that we let Charlie play with, and one small Ohio State football that we gave Charlie for Christmas. We let Charlie bring them with him for the car ride once upon a time, and now there they sit, on the floor of the backseat. They are buddies with the rubber fire truck bath toy that they share the space with. Because I am, after all, put on this earth to make sure that Charlie is never hungry or thirsty, even for 10 seconds.

Saturday, March 27, 2010. Charlie helped me make some cupcakes this afternoon. He liked putting sprinkles on them. He liked eating the cupcakes even better. Charlie is getting better at giving Lucy treats. Usually he says "sit boy" and then quickly throws them on the floor at her feet. Saturday, June 26, 2010. We had a wonderful trip to Iowa to visit with Charlie and Liam's Great Grandma Knepper. While we were there, Liam's Aunt Christine discovered that he had broken through two front teeth on the bottom. They were just peeking through, but now they're quite visible. Friday, January 29, 2010. Charlie has been getting really good at catching a soft football, as long as it's thrown in the vicinity of his chest. Sunday, November 15, 2009. While my parents were here, Liam had his first appointment with the pediatrician on November 3. He was back up to his birth weight of 7 lbs 4 oz. They measured him at only 20 inches long, and his head was 14 inches. He's still so lean, we've still been using the newborn size diapers, but will likely switch to size 1 when our current supply runs out in a day or two.
