Thursday, June 30, 2005. For the first time in my 25 years, it's only now that I have felt so strongly about what is happening in my country, the Philippines. There seems to be chaos everywhere you turn. I don't have to watch the news or read the papers to know and feel that we are in dire straits. Vanity aside, it's a good thing it's in our genes to be on the lean side such that I can consume and consume chocolates without worrying about weight gain. There I was minding my own self, mulling over the buffet table if it will be caesar's salad or just take the roll without the butter. Tough choice huh. But that's not the story.
