Wednesday, May 27, 2009. On Sunday Dan was on the Baltimore news sharing his car expertise. Watch his 2nd TV deput here. Dan on TV! Thursday, May 21, 2009. And the Award goes to. Last week I got an award at work. maybe my first award ever! I was not expecting the money. I would have been happy with a Certificate! So, to celebrate and use the money on something more than bills, Dan and I went to a nice dinner that evening at Ruth Chris at the Inner Harbor. It was a great way to finish off the day.

Friday, June 26, 2009. On Father's Day, there was a 5K race to benefit the NICU at GBMC. Dan, Kathleen, Dan's dad and brother were all going to run the 5K. For some reason, the night before, I was feeling left out and decided to run/walk the race. It was a silly idea because I have never run that far nor have I planned to (runnings not my thing), but I did it anyway! I did walk a little bit (up the hills), but ran most of the way and finished in about 34 min. I felt pretty good afterwards too!

Tuesday, April 28, 2009. Everyone Loves the Spring Sunshine. Last week, Dan and I ventured up to Atlantic city on a whim. Dan goes to a car auction for work every Tues-Wed in New Jersey, so his co-workers dropped him off at a rest stop in Delaware and I picked him up, then off we went to Atlantic City! Thursday, July 31, 2008. Take me out to the Ball Game. This week I went to a couple baseball games. On Sunday Kathleen, her "friend" Bill, Dan, and I went to an Orioles game. The game was not very well attended, but they won! It was a good game and something fun to do on a Sunday. Here are some pictures. My dad's seats are on the third baseline where all the foul balls are hit. Unfortunately we didn't catch any. Next time! Wednesday, July 23, 2008. Just ordered the fourth and final book from Amazon!

Tuesday, March 31, 2009. Dan and I just booked a flight to New Zealand in October! We decided to take advantage of the relatively "low" prices that we found and go for an adventure. Thursday, October 16, 2008. The other weekend, Dan and I went camping at the Granite Hill Campground in Gettysburg, PA. It was nice to be out in the wilderness. The weather was great, a tad bit chilly at night, but we survived. Here is Dan putting up our cozy tent. We also had an air mattress and laptop to watch movies. I like comfortable camping. No sleeping on the ground and using the woods as a toilet! And here is what we did when we ran out of things to talk about. played with the camera and fire.

Tuesday, February 3, 2009. Last week Dan, Kathleen, and I visited my mom at her new home in Whitefish, Montana! Her house is very nice and seems perfect for her with lots of room for visitors. It was a great trip. We did a lot of winter activities. Skiing, snowshoeing, and dog sledding. No worries, we had lots of relaxing time as well. Here are some pictures from the trip. Dogsledding. Tuesday, April 14, 2009. This Sunday Dan and I replanted some bushes in the backyard (the bushes from last year were struggling due to lack of water). Then we had my Dad, Kathleen, and Teddy over for a steak dinner and Easter candy. It was nice to have some family time! Here are some pictures from the day. New bushes.
