1/2 cup cauliflower florets. 1 medium size carrot. 1 tsp finely chopped garlic. 1 tbsp chilly powder. 1 tsp coriander powder. A pinch turmeric powder. 1 tsp pavbhajji masala. Salt as per taste. Pressure cook all vegetables and half of capsicum with sufficient water.then take the veggies coll it and with blender nicely mash and potatoes with masher.keep this aside. Heat a frying pan add oil,onions fry till it turns golden brown then add tomatoes and garlic. Now turn off the heat add coriander leaves.

Pappu will be a dilicious and regular recipe in andhra. People will have this daily and never get bored. 1 Cup toor dal. Tamarid paste as required. Add toor dal, tomato ( cut into small pieces) , onion, green and red chilles, tamarid paste, salt and turmeric powder in a cooker with water. Wait till 4 whistles. Monday, May 12, 2008. Red chilli powder/Sambhar Powder. Wash tomatoes and finely chop them and blend it well in a blender to make it a puree. Meanwhile take a tawa/pan add oil, few mustard seeds and let it splutter well and add some asafoetida powder to it. Now add the tomato puree to it and saute well. Also add the chilli/sambhar powder and salt and saute it well till everything gets well mixed and boils. Can be stored in a pickle form and can be eaten with any kind of rice/roti. Links to this post.
