Flyaway Leaves: December 2007
http://rainthots.blogspot.com/2007_12_01_archive.html
Friday, December 28, 2007. Hello World", said the 25 year old hatchling. A few days away from entering 2008, a few months away from turning 26 and married for a year too! I've always entered the new year with the "Bah! Feeling and ended up doing unnaturally casual things on new year's eve (like putting fresh veggies in the refrigerator at the stroke of midnight! Don't ask me why! Not just that, I find myself evaluating my 25 years of being alive in great detail too! Guess that's what soul mates are for&#...

Flyaway Leaves: November 2009
http://rainthots.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Friday, November 20, 2009. Am extremely happy to announce that I have FINALLY progressed to making my very own cream, with my very own teeny hands and best of all, I get to choose what goes in it. and boy! Does that feel good or what! Yesterday I made the very first batch of Rosemary Gladstar's 'Perfect cream'. It is most definitely one of the nicest winter creams I have tried and though I do have intentions of tweaking it to suit my needs, it is undoubtedly a superb first recipe to start with. 1 Combine...

Flyaway Leaves: August 2014
http://rainthots.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
Friday, August 15, 2014. A Hymn To Life. A sea of emotions. Tides of great highs and smooth, graceful lows,. Carrying memories of beauty, love and joy. Untold, unshared, unshed. But bursting at the seams. A white that bursts across eternity. And scatters, like a rainbow. Glorious blues. Rich, deep purples. Happy, smiling yellows. And hues of everything in-between. The dull, the bright, the mellow, the bold. They shine like the sun. They glow like the moon. Like millions of stars across a velvet sky.

Flyaway Leaves: December 2008
http://rainthots.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Monday, December 1, 2008. Another day of terror. Mumbai, November 2008. I know that technically speaking, this attack has been the worst ever to hit Mumbai. It threatens the security of the city, threatens all the things we love about Mumbai, 'I' love about Mumbai. threatens the sense of 'freedom' that Mumbai represents. But hasn't every attack in Mumbai done the same? How do certain lives become more important, news worthy and action seeking than the others? Do we have to discriminate even in death?

Flyaway Leaves: July 2009
http://rainthots.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Friday, July 24, 2009. Tried and NOT tested (Part 2). Continued from Part 1. After weeks of worldly distractions, I finally got myself to sit down and think about this post. I found myself googling 'Forest Essentials' to see if they have stores in the U.S. Forest Essentials is a privately owned Indian company that makes the most heavenly smelling Ayurvedic personal care products that, if I may add, work! Their hydra eye gel is magic potion for puffy eyes. Even hubby swears by it! Being a woman, I have to...

Flyaway Leaves: February 2008

Friday, February 8, 2008. Rainthots and the Attack of the Giant, Killer Bumble Bee. Have been meaning to write this post for a while now. If you know me at all, you'd know why this experience would be such a big event in my life. If you don't know me, then well, think of an average female's fear of insects. now multiply that by 10 and you'll get me! Surrounded by wilderness, a peanut-sized insect is the least of your worries! So hubby was kind enough to exclude camping from our holiday. I too thought...
