http://www.kolammuseum.com/outreach.html
Kolam will run outreach programs for children who are unable to access the museum. Our traveling programs will reach out to children from rural India and bring the joy of discovery to those who cannot reach us. India's future lies in educating village children and in providing as many facilities as possible, as those available in city schools. Kolam will carry our unique educational methods to village schools and supplement text-book information with interactive practical workshops.

Kolam is based on the philosophy of learning through play. The museum experience is designed so as to engage children in the entire experience of learning and enable them to have fun. All exhibits are interactive and many can be handled, looked at through microscopes, subjected to testing and viewed in many different ways thus, giving children a rare view of the world around them. Moving with and beyond school syllabi, Kolam redefines the meaning of Learning through Play.
