The Bead Blog: November 2014
http://beadabundant.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Monday, November 17, 2014. My bead kiln has been shutting off randomly during a work session, so I'm replacing the relay. Here's the opened side of the bead kiln. The relay is the black box at the bottom:. I tried to read the part number on the back of the relay with a little piece of mirror, but that idea was a fail, ha ha! After some wrangling with the connectors, the relay came out easily enough. I hope the new one solves the problem. Have you ever had a Glass Hive kiln relay fail? Find me on Facebook!

http://beadabundant.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Monday, February 14, 2011. Spring Is In The Air. We're still having some cold weather, and there's still snow on the ground in lots of places around the country, but Spring is indeed on its way. I found these daffodils sprouting up in my yard last weekend:. I've made another bead video, still practicing with the video editing software and having fun with it. The video below demos an Ivory bead with Gaia scroll designs, like the beads in this set:. The background music is a little dramatic! The weather is...

The Bead Blog: Stained Glass
http://beadabundant.blogspot.com/2015/03/stained-glass.html
Thursday, March 12, 2015. I love the way light shines through glass. Well, no more. I just can't stand not making colorful things that hang in the window for light to shine through. Finally my soldering supplies have arrived, I've watched hundreds of YouTube videos, and okay here we go, my first soldered stained glass thing. a pair of earrings I guess:. My second stained glass thing, a blue pendant. Really wonky, flux all over the place, hah! Gaining courage, trying something a little more challenging:.

The Bead Blog: June 2011
http://beadabundant.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
Tuesday, June 14, 2011. I'd like to show off this simple pair of Nyx glass hollow beads I made recently. I'm still practicing with hollows so the shape is a little "organic." At least I got dimpled ends on this pair, that was my main goal. I love using just a single glass color in my beads, and Nyx is great for that because of its variety of metallic shades:. It's been ages since I've written in this blog! More soon I hope. I've been making marbles and want to show you some pictures of them!
