Approach of ENVSEC Initiative

The ENVSEC partner organisations, in close cooperation with national experts from various ministries and national agencies, as well as NGOs and research institutes, conduct multi-stakeholder analyses of environment and security risks and address identified risks and environmental legacies in four regions: Eastern Europe, South Eastern Europe, Southern Caucasus, and Central Asia. Each region is under the responsibility of an ENVSEC regional desk office. The ENVSEC approach comprises four main steps:.
