This has been a long term project, started in the 1980s with the acquisition of the first cockpit section Handley Page Victor (XH670) which is the last surviving example of a Victor B2. This was followed by the addition of the Avro Vulcan B2/K2 (XH560), the Vickers Valiant B1 (XD826) and finally the Handley Page Victor K2 (XH669).
