La Petite Famille: Pumpkin carving, a bit late this year
http://larsonbuchholz.blogspot.com/2009/11/pumpkin-carving-bit-late-this-year.html
A few glimpses and ramblings from our family as we partake of the great feast that is life. Saturday, November 7, 2009. Pumpkin carving, a bit late this year. Because of our SD trip, we carved our pumpkins after Halloween this year. Late, but no less fun! Larson was so diligent about collecting the seeds for roasting, but guess if he actually tried any. La Petite Famille: March 2009
http://larsonbuchholz.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
A few glimpses and ramblings from our family as we partake of the great feast that is life. Sunday, March 15, 2009. I had some leftover ricotta cheese and decided to try out a "cheesecake" recipe from Martha Stewart to use it up. It is a very simple recipe and took no time at all. You know, one of those recipes you can practically throw together by the time the oven is done preheating. Here's an abridged version of the recipe, taken from Martha Stewart's Baking Handbook:. Saturday, March 14, 2009. Yes, i...

La Petite Famille: Garbage truck - not my favorite game
http://larsonbuchholz.blogspot.com/2009/11/garbage-truck-not-my-favorite-game.html
A few glimpses and ramblings from our family as we partake of the great feast that is life. Friday, November 6, 2009. Garbage truck - not my favorite game. At first Kate and I thought it was cute that the boys were pretending to drive a garbage truck on our couch. But the game quickly deteriorated when they decided to shove all the toys off onto the floor and then run around like madmen refusing to put any of it away. Notice that Larson does not have pants on. Not our finest hour. :).

Stumptown Birkebeiner: Snow Alert - Skiing in Portland
http://stumptownbirkebeiner.blogspot.com/2009/12/snow-alert-skiing-in-portland.html
An urban ski parade and race in downtown Portland, Oregon - if it snows. Tuesday, December 29, 2009. Snow Alert - Skiing in Portland. There is enough snow to ski (barely) in NW Portland right now. I'm heading out to test the slopes. Unfortunately I will be out of town tomorrow morning, so if the second annual Stumptown Birkebeiner happens, please take pics! You know the deal: Meet at the NW corner of Powell's City of Books at 9 AM and take it from there. There's also a FB page here. Great Nordeen - Bend.

La Petite Famille: Winter zoo trip
http://larsonbuchholz.blogspot.com/2009/11/winter-zoo-trip.html
A few glimpses and ramblings from our family as we partake of the great feast that is life. Saturday, November 28, 2009. Look at our 2 big kids riding the "horsies" all by themselves! Larson was a bit skeptical at first about whether he actually wanted to try feeding the birds himself, but decided to try it out and thought it was pretty cool! Ahh, wouldn't it be great if every weekend was like that? I love that you can feed the birds! January 16, 2010 at 4:45 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Happi...

La Petite Famille: January 2009
http://larsonbuchholz.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
A few glimpses and ramblings from our family as we partake of the great feast that is life. Wednesday, January 28, 2009. How precious is this? This is what I found playing diligently in the sandbox when I picked him up from school yesterday. You might not be able to tell, but the shoes are on the wrong feet, the hat and the pants are backwards and the jacket is upside down. 3 year old self-sufficiency. Love it. Wednesday, January 14, 2009. Happy New Year, everyone! Sunday, January 4, 2009. Larson was ver...

La Petite Famille: We give thanks
http://larsonbuchholz.blogspot.com/2009/11/we-give-thanks.html
A few glimpses and ramblings from our family as we partake of the great feast that is life. Friday, November 27, 2009. When the day after Thanksgiving arrived with sunshine and very few clouds, we decided to head to the park rather than doorbust for bargains. A walk in the park on Thanksgiving 2008:. And the same walk in 2009:. This year we have much to be thankful for. Health, happiness, employment, wonderful friends and family. We humbly give thanks for these riches in our lives! Halloween in San Diego.

La Petite Famille: October 2009
http://larsonbuchholz.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
A few glimpses and ramblings from our family as we partake of the great feast that is life. Saturday, October 24, 2009. Our annual trip to the pumpkin patch provided the kind of fall weather I've come to expect around here: lots of early low-lying fog draping the landscape like a sheet, then warmth and sunshine later on. And lots of mud in the fields. Good thing we remembered our rain boots! Monday, October 19, 2009. The party included painting outside in the autumn sunshine and champagne for me! We were...
