Eddies thoughts and experiences. Scam call I received. July 2, 2016. Earlier today I received a phone call on my cell phone. The caller ID displayed the caller’s phone number with an area code of 733. I looked up that area code and found out that it isn’t currently in use. So I looked up the possible reasons and found one that was most likely the case. Checking the area code may not have been on top of most people’s mind, but it threw up a red flag for me immediately once I found out that it was not a us...
