Farmer Exchanges | The Garden's Edge
http://www.gardensedge.org/programs/farmer-exchanges
Farms & Gardens. We love to share our experiences with interested organizations or communities through farmer exchanges and trainings. In the past, we have brought farmers and young women from Guatemala to New Mexico to meet with funders, local farmers, and indigenous communities to share their stories and traditional knowledge. We also help facilitate visits to our partner villages in Guatemala to see how our programs work first-hand. Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window).

We started by planting native and medicinal plants, and helped bring back many highly nutritious Maya food crops and medicines like amaranth, native corns, beans, and vegetables such as Chipilin and Macuy (Hierba Mora). Conven...
Scholarships | The Garden's Edge
http://www.gardensedge.org/programs/scholarships

Since the program’s inception, we have offered 60 scholarships about 8 per year, with the number of recipients increasing slightly each year. Last year, some of the G...
