How do I get to Winter Park Resort? Winter Park Resort is an easy drive from both the Front Range and other mountain communities. You can click here. For directions. We hope you can join our much appreciated volunteer staff! As an Epic Singletrack Series volunteer, you play an integral part of making sure the races run smoothly. Jobs include helping with registration/food, registration/finish area, and marshaling. The volunteer day begins between 7:30-8am (depending on your position), and finishes at the conclusion of the race day (typically around 3pm; some days later or earlier). Wednesday, April 8, 2009. This year has a lot going on and not much of it is concerning mountain biking. My son is graduating from college in May and getting married in July. I'm trying to figure out what biking events I. Ride this year based on what I will be able to prepare for (i.e. train for) in between these other big life events. Mostly I just want to have fun and enjoy riding this year. Last year I got goofy trying to train, train, train, and it really took the enjoyment out of riding.

Thursday, July 17, 2008. This weekend I am racing one of the Winter Park races. It is the Valley Point-to-Point, one of the same ones that I raced last year, and I've really wanted to do this race again this year to be able to gauge improvement from last year. I'm using this as a "warm up" for next week, even though only a little less than a third the distance of the enduro. I've felt good this week after the 63 miles I road on Saturday and I rode strong on my 7 mile lunch time ride today.
