Banishing Fear With Understanding. Barleylands Fun Walk Sunday 18 th. May 2014 from Midday. This annual fund raising / social event is not far away once again and we are looking to make the whole day another great success. The event, organised by John Baron MP and his Fun Walk Committee, raised over 800 for our local epilepsy group (includes local business bonus ‘pot’ payments received by all Charities taking part on a pro rata basis). May (The sponsorship money is not required to be sent with the forms).

Banishing Fear With Understanding. Who we are - What we do. View from Old Leigh-on-Sea looking towards the mouth of the Thames Estuary. We are a young independent support group dedicated to supporting individuals, families and carers whose lives are affected by Epilepsy. Our group offers practical information to members on how to manage their condition and our independence allows us to refer members to seek additional information from other Epilepsy charities who have greater expertise in particular areas.
