In this workshop, participants cast present-day news, statistics, and developments into future products that will be exhibited at a 'time-warp opening' of the 99cent Futures store. The speculative methodology is intended to offer creatives, non-profits, students, and companies a tool for envisioning and presenting more imaginative visions for futures.

Alpha prototype in first testing. Roach and harvested feedstock. Urban spaces can offer feedstocks for biofuel, but collecting and processing the plant matter is a challenge. Eventually, devices similar to this prototype could autonomously paddle the canals, scooping invasive plant matter into their storage chambers, and preparing it for conversion when collected. The alpha prototype was exhibited in 'Artifact' at Imperial College, London.

Voices of Keystrokes action desk, as set up at the 2010 RCA Work in Progress show. Visitors were invited to voice their opinions to the Climate Protection Secretary of State regarding 10 proposed nuclear plants in the UK.
