Sunday, May 31, 2015. Diaspora Africa: The Skirt. This month I had the pleasure of attending 2 natural hair events in the Boston area. One was NoMoreLyes 2015 at the Boston Marriott in Cambridge, MA and International Hair Meetup Day at District Hall in Boston. Both events were hosted by Boston Naturals. There were sweet swag bags with lots of goodies and it was fun networking with other naturals. The high point was my Ankara skirt from Diaspora Africa. I had been so thirsty for one! Sunday, May 31, 2015. After a brutal winter, I was recovering from watching boring movies on IROKO TV. Seriously, out of all the movies being released it seems that the most ridiculous ones make it to IROKO. Just when I was convinced that I was better off on YouTube, along came While You Slept. By Ini Edo. It was high in drama with very few pointless scenes. You know the ones where the main character cries for HALF AN HOUR while you wait to find out how the movie ends.
