9th NSW Epping Boys’ Brigade Company. NSW Epping Company commenced in 1943 at Epping Baptist Church by John Haddon Stone. The company is the oldest company still operating within NSW. A deacon in the local church and active in it’s youth activities, John Stone was also a city accountant and close friend of Robert McEwan, M.B.E. Registered initially at the 40. With the commencement of the Parramatta Battalion in 1957, the company title changed to 6. The year 1963 saw the commencement of neighbouring 109.

Anchors – 9th NSW Epping Boys' Brigade

Anchors Section is the youngest section of Boys’ Brigade. At Epping Baptist Church, our Anchors is for both girls and boys that are in kindergarten to year two of school. Following on from Anchors, boys are invited to continue with Boys’ Brigade through Juniors Section and girls are invited to Girls’ Club. Anchors meets once a week during school term times on Wednesday nights from 5.30pm till 6.45pm. For further information on any of the activities of Anchors Section please contact us.

Boys move to the Seniors Section when they start High School. Seniors Section meets each Wednesday at 6.30pm till 9.00pm. New boys joining Boys’ Brigade for the first time are at no disadvantage as the uniform and achievement scheme is different from the Juniors and Anchors sections and is based around specific activity badges.
