Tuesday, June 16, 2015. What we did post-AP Exam. I still had a few weeks of class to fill after the AP Exam. I definitely wanted the kids to still be working, but not necessarily on calculus and not to the point where they had tons of homework. So, this is what we ended up doing:. 1 day to go over released FRQs. 1 week to work on Shoe Box Projects. 3 days to work on End of Year Folders and fill out surveys. 1 week to work on Serve Create. 1 day for goodbyes :(. Part of the problem I have with related rates questions is most of the time they seem so contrived and impractical. Tuesday, July 17, 2012. I know there are a few things I'm giving up by taking a break from the college scene (there's a reason I went straight for a Master's in math), but there's so much I'm looking forward to. What I can't wait for. Quadruple the amount of time spent with students. The ability to cover material more thoroughly. College classes go by so fast. I'm excited to be able to take my time and, hopefully, not feel as rushed. Concerts, games, talent shows, etc. Not having to teach until 9 AM.

We have a team of 12-16 guys and on any given night we play eight: three doubles matches and two singles matches. I found several great worksheets and activities to try out this year, and so far I feel like it has gone MUCH better! Here's what I did:. I started off with this activity that I got from here.
