Rock Star Mommy: It's been awhile!
http://judydavids.blogspot.com/2011/01/its-been-awhile.html
Thursday, January 6, 2011. It's been a long time since I've blogged. I have been super busy. Between family, business, band, volunteering and writing my own column on www.patch.com I rarely have a spare moment. I think my New Year's resolution is going to be to change that. Throwing stuff at the internet to see what sticks. Wednesday, November 27, 2002. A couple of weekends ago, I decided to do something I’d never done before in my life. I decided to rake and bag all of the leaves in the yard. By myself. It was also something I’ll never do again. I had some cleaning up to do. Sure, it’s warm outside, and it gets dark later, but here’s a tip: if you’re bagging leaves in the shade, you’re wasting your time. It’s like vacuuming your living room before the cat dies. Besides I f...

Throwing stuff at the internet to see what sticks. Monday, July 08, 2013. M Ovie Reviews: Man of Steel. Some people were nervous about Zack Snyder directing the new Superman movie. I suppose the question was which Zack Snyder it would be: the Zack Snyder who directed 300. A somewhat controversial but generally successful stylistic experiment? Or the one who directed Watchmen. Personally, I was holding out for the Zack Snyder who directed Dawn of the Dead. If one prefers to think of Sucker Punch. Exists) ...

Throwing stuff at the internet to see what sticks. Thursday, June 06, 2013. M Ovie Reviews: May Movies. Obviously I’m pretty behind on reviewing the movies I saw last month, it now being this. Month and all. So I figured it would be better to do capsule reviews of what I saw in May in all one post rather than a full review of each of them, which I think we all know was never going to happen anyway. Better partial than never, right? I knew this would have to be better than Iron Man 2. Here, however, event...

Throwing stuff at the internet to see what sticks. Sunday, March 27, 2011. M Ovie Reviews: Sucker Punch. I have two introductory paragraphs for this review, so bear with me and you can pick which one you like better. Trash doesn't like going to movies in the theater, but she encourages me to go. She knows it makes me happy to see a new release in the dark, loud, distraction-free (welcome to Minnesota! Don't get me wrong, I have plenty of goodwill towards Zack Snyder. I loved his 2004 Dawn of the Dead.

Throwing stuff at the internet to see what sticks. Tuesday, July 09, 2013. M Ovie Reviews: Monsters University. When James P. Sullivan (John Goodman) shows up at Monsters University, everyone assumes he's destined for greatness because of who he is. He's almost literally the proverbial 300-pound gorilla with the famous name who apparently doesn't even have to try hard to get great results, even as he's surrounded by lesser creatures who are doomed to failure despite working their asses off. To be fair, t...

Rock Star Mommy: Happy Veterans Day!
http://judydavids.blogspot.com/2010/11/happy-veterans-day.html
Thursday, November 11, 2010. Was honored to be a part of the Cleveland Cavs Military Family Appreciation Night at the Q. Together, with the Cleveland USO, we gave away 1000 PostEgram subscriptions to keep military families connected to their loved ones. The Armed Forces make enormous sacrifices to serve our country. Keeping in touch with family shouldn't be one of those sacrifices. Posted by Rock Star Mommy. Judy Davids is CEO of PostEgram. Promote Your Page Too. Be a Fan of the Mydols!

Rock Star Mommy: June 2010
http://judydavids.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Wednesday, June 30, 2010. Here's what I like about it so far. I like the size of it. It's travel friendly. It fits easily in my bag. It's a little bit heavy for it's size though. I love the battery on this thing. (Maybe that's why it's heavy.) I brought this laptop to work and used it ALL day and it never lost it's charge. And I LOVE the back-lit keyboard. A lot of times in the evening I watch TV with the lights off and do my Facebook. The lighted keys make it very convenient. Posted by Rock Star Mommy.
