As many of you may or may not be aware, my fiance (Jack) and our band of crazy friends completed a Tough Mudder in Maysville, KY last month. Ok, let's stop right there. The "Non-Sciencey" Animal Scientist: April 2012

http://theanimalscientist.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html

The "Non-Sciencey" Animal Scientist. Tuesday, April 3, 2012. Just a quick post. Anyway, we fly to Montana tomorrow. I didn't think today's preparations would be that bad since Michael was going to take the rest of the day off after the doctor appointment, but then he got called to West Virginia. So I'm left doing massive laundry and packing for all of us. UGH! On top of that, I have to get the house cleaned! I'm taking about 30 minutes to myself and then I guess I'm going to get back at it.

The "Non-Sciencey" Animal Scientist. Tuesday, September 10, 2013. Beautiful sunset view from the back porch. Joanie was worried about drowning. Joanie and I.love this girl! I said we had some good food while we were there. Calories didn't count this weekend. Here's what I made:. Cajun Ranch Chicken Pasta. I generally don't like food with the work "crack" in the name, but these were amazing). Links to this post. Sunday, September 1, 2013. Mercer County Run for the Pets 15K. For great pics of us! The "Non-Sciencey" Animal Scientist. Monday, March 3, 2014. Anyway, we got a little 19" tv to use as a monitor and set me up a little computer area in James's room.which is now Joseph's room. Yes, we switched their rooms in the process. Joseph LOVES his new bigger room. They are playing fairly peacefully now while I type. So, where to begin. The boys are good. Life is crazy. I try to stay busy.sometimes too busy. I will attempt a couple of miles running tomorrow.hoping to be pain free. Links to this post.

http://theanimalscientist.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html

The "Non-Sciencey" Animal Scientist. Wednesday, July 24, 2013. First of all.I'm happy to say that this blog has passed 10000 pageviews! I know about 2500 of them were Michael. Ha Ha! Anyway, we took a little mini vacation this past week. My friend, Libby, from college posted about a painting class. Wine, painting, a good cause, and Libby? I was so in. Luckily my Aunt and Uncle who live in Germantown were going to be home and we were able to visit and stay with them. James was creeping on some wine. In le...

http://theanimalscientist.blogspot.com/2013_08_01_archive.html

The "Non-Sciencey" Animal Scientist. Friday, August 23, 2013. Happy Birthday, JAMES! One year ago today, we welcomed our sweet little James into our lives. Life has gotten much harder, but I wouldn't trade him for anything. Some of James' favorite things:. Any toys with wheels. He's not walking yet, but it won't be long. Joseph will really be in trouble once James starts walking. Our plans for the day include going to the Mexican restaurant for a birthday dinner and then having CUPCAKES! The next day, I ...

The "Non-Sciencey" Animal Scientist. Monday, September 8, 2014. A weekend of trails! My beautiful view from the backside of Capitol View Park. Sunday, I had been invited to go horseback riding at Shaker Village. I have not been on a true trail ride in FOREVER! Now to set my sights on this week of playing the role of single mom plus the last stages of half marathon prep. Some pics from the trails:. Spice tacked up and ready to go. Spice and Bud taking a break. Spice doesn't like selfies. Links to this post.

http://theanimalscientist.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html

The "Non-Sciencey" Animal Scientist. Friday, April 26, 2013. I've thought about this blog often. I even get so far as to start writing a post but then get overwhelmed and stop. I really don't know where to begin, but here goes. James is 8 months old. WOW! I was so excited to be here since I really don't have any girl friends in Frankfort, but you know what? My friends are pretty busy, and unless I call one of them to go to lunch, I really don't see them much. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

The "Non-Sciencey" Animal Scientist. Sunday, September 1, 2013. Mercer County Run for the Pets 15K. Yesterday I ran the Mercer County Run for the Pets 15K. The race was beautiful though and the other runners were so friendly and supportive. Runners tend to be really nice, but these took it to another level. I will definitely be doing this run again. Be sure to check out Katie's blog. For great pics of us! On September 21st and then I have my first ever 1/2 marathon in Nashville. View my complete profile.
