Horse slain on family property in Balnarring. Raquo; Horse slain on family property in Balnarring. Detectives have been told the thoroughbred named Arrier was discovered slain in a rural property paddock close to Myers Road on Saturday 18 July around 8.30am. The horse was found with a bullet wound to the head which is believed to have been fired at close range. Arrier was last seen by her owners when she was fed around 8pm on Friday evening. The eight year old thoroughbred was valued in excess of $100,000.
