While it’s still the most challenging thing I do every week, I’m happy to report that I’m beginning to feel less like a coward who’s terrified of going to Jujutsu and more like that guy who won’t shut up about Jujutsu. With the not-so-shocking revelation that I managed to hurt myself in my first real bout of sparring. It’s not the first time I’ve tweaked something in class, but it’s the only injury that didn’t clear up after taking a day or two off.
