In higher education, we should transition our students from a test-oriented culture to a thinking one, where wisdom is valued over knowledge. I instruct students that it is their educated opinion that matters in life, not their ability to retain and then regurgitate fact.

Costume and Puppet Designer. Eric Abele is a theatrical designer and construction artist, who specializes in costume and puppet design for Theatre for Young Audiences. Currently Eric is the Visiting Lecturer in Costume Design at the University of Maryland Baltimore County Department of Theatre. Recently, he was the Director of Design and Production at Lexington Children's Theatre. And completed his MFA in Costume Design at the University of Tennessee.

Wednesday, March 24, 2010. Things that make me happy. I thought I would take the time to write down some of the things that make me happy. Luke makes me happy,. He is such an adorable little guy, I can't help but smile at all of his noises and facial expressions. Being a stay at home makes me happy,. I'm so grateful I don't have to miss out on anything, and I get to spend all day. Every day with Luke. All make me very happy, I can't wait for summer! Hearing someone say "I love you". Why I love being a mom.
