Only in New York. . . Sunday, August 28, 2011. The Aftermath of a Hurricane. While the rest of New York City is going stir crazy waiting indoors for Irene, I've been enjoying the quiet time and the chance to bid Manhattan an almost reverent farewell. Commenting on my recent attempts to do and see everything. Before I left, a friend said, "You do. Know that New York City will be around once you're gone, right? It'll still be the city that never sleeps." Well, guess what? And I spent the entire day revising.

Friday, November 6, 2009. So most of you know that we took at 2 week vacation to China. It was really good to get away for a solid block of time but also really good to get back. China was definitely different than what we expected. The next site that I really enjoyed was the Terracotta Warriors. Some historical sites are impressive because of their sheer size. The warriors definitely qualify as such. Literally thousands of soldiers made out of clay, each with different faces. Amazing.

Monday, May 2, 2011. Adventures in Skagit Valley. We decided to go to Arizona for Easter. We were super excited to see our nieces and nephews and their folks. Sunday, October 9, 2011. Just to catch everyone up to date, we decided to take the job in Madison, WI! We decided to make the trek in 3 days.  . 8232; Day 4- (Oct 3) We B-lined it for Madison so we could get Sean's Unlce to the airport in the afternoon.
