Cultural Liberalism Is Not Enough | tabithatwinkles

Zippity do-dah zippity day. April 8, 2012. Cultural Liberalism Is Not Enough. Posted in as if and whatever. At 11:50 am by tabithatwinkles. April 7, 2012,. Liberals must find a way to combine their cultural successes with new approaches to achieving economic equality. But they must do so unambiguously and unequivocally. That brings us back to President Obama. In fact, Obama has proved far more adept at adapting his positions toward the increasingly radical views enunciated by the leaders of the Republica...

Matt Bokovoy: February 2010
http://mattbokovoy.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Books, Criticism, Friends, and Things Underground. Sunday, February 7, 2010. Fall into Winter Snow. Bradley Hayes with Spencer. Tabby and Spencer went to Buffalo in October to visit family, and this riding session was at Uncle Frankie and Aunt Mo's house. At the pumpkin patch, with Tara. In the backyard in the snow. Nala, our dog, gave the snow a whirl despite having arthritis, but we had to carry back in after about 5 minutes. Old dogs are very stubborn, especially ours. Tara decorating Christmas cookies.

Matt Bokovoy: June 2012
http://mattbokovoy.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Books, Criticism, Friends, and Things Underground. Monday, June 18, 2012. It's been awhile since I posted anything, and these are the spring travel highlights. This is Spencer and me at the carnival at the Norman Music Festival. It was pretty fun, and he had not been to a carnival, so we played a lot of the games and he went on a couple kid rides. This was the giant alligator ride. This is uncle Ron with Spencer. Ron was shelling out the cash for games of chance, of which we won once. Links to this post.

Big Daddy Malcontent: Rank-and-file Democrats have no principles.
http://bigdaddymalcontent.blogspot.com/2012/02/rank-and-file-democrats-have-no.html
Let Big Daddy set you straight. Friday, February 10, 2012. Rank-and-file Democrats have no principles. Confirms what I've always suspected. The poll shows that 53 percent of self-identified liberal Democrats — and 67 percent of moderate or conservative Democrats — support keeping Guantanamo Bay open, even though it emerged as a symbol of the post-Sept. 11 national security policies of President George W. Bush, which many liberals bitterly opposed. Posted by Big Daddy Malcontent. View my complete profile.

http://mattbokovoy.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
Books, Criticism, Friends, and Things Underground. Tuesday, July 31, 2012. July, Or Infernal Days on the Southern Plains. Zombie vs. Shark at the Free Tulsa Music Festival 2012, at the Dust Bowl Lanes/Dilly Deli Stage. It was cool being back in Tulsa, since I hadn't been there in 3 years. Used to go there often when I lived in Stillwater. It was only 108 degrees when we played at 7pm. Kudos to Joey Powell, of Shitty/Awesome, for snapping the pics for us! There were little colored houses all around. The S...
