Monday, October 5, 2009. Are they being taken away? I was reading this article. About a lady who is trying to help her neighbors. I think it is our right to help our neighbors and friends, but obviously some people don’t think it is a right. I think it is our civic duty to help other people. Wednesday, September 30, 2009. Civics is the study of what it means to be a U.S. citizen. As a United States citizen, I am privileged because I have more freedom than citizens of other countries have. I think the freedom to raise a family is the most important freedom because every one should have the right to get married, settle down, and have kids and raise them. I think this mother should be allowed to watch her neighbors children without a license. It is neighbor helping neighbor and certainly not a thriving business.
