On May 7th I was officially diagnosed by my doctor with Celiac Disease. Up to my diagnosis I had pretty much figured out what was making me sick. so in layman terms - I can't eat Gluten, but it goes so much deeper than that. We went in on Tuesday morning at 7 and I finally got rolled back into surgery around 10:30, they asked me all sorts of questions, ran some tests, and got me prepped for surgery in that time. Eric was good comic relief. Once they took me back into surgery, he went out and ran some errands, and got some coffee because we left home so early! Thanks for everyone's thoughts, prayers and texts! It's so nice to be loved and supported!

After 6 months of trial, error, tests, Dr appointments and waiting for doctors appointments I am finally on my way to digestive health. It has been a long road and a long journey emotionally, financially and physically. I am thankful for insurance, surgeons and modern medicine. Friday, August 07, 2015. 30 Days of Thankful.
