Friday, March 18, 2011. Are why these were necessary. There was another set of paper boxes blocking him from crawling around my desk. He didn't really notice them at first, but eventually became curious. Hmm, how do I get past these? Ooo, these make really cool sounds. Tuesday, May 5, 2015. Everyone got in on the egg dying action this year. Even Daddy and Albert were able to participate. Yay! Easter is a bit of a blur. I know we went to church and that the service was nice. I don't really remember what we did after that. except for what we see in these pictures. Thursday, August 21, 2014. First Day of School. Tuesday was Addilyn and Asher's first day of school in Albert City. Addilyn is starting 2nd grade. And Asher is starting Kindergarten! He got tired of smiling and decided to look fierce instead. This is the standard showing-off-the-backpack pose that I always make them do. Seriously, Mom, can I be done? Saturday, May 30, 2015. Last Day of School! Yesterday was Addilyn and Asher's last day of school! They seemed pretty happy about it. Don't look too close at this picture; it's a little bit gross. (But funny.). Last day as a Kindergartner (and with Mrs. Frederick.sniff, sniff). Last day of second grade. It was a bit of a rough year, with a new school and the loss of her beloved Mrs. Decarlo mid-year, but this girl still looks pretty smiley on her last day. Watching them go one more time before summer.

Thursday, May 14, 2015. Chalk Paint and Spring Soccer. For Easter the kids got these sidewalk chalk paints. They were messy but fun. Guess who chose the orange? They ended up making a very elaborate track and road system. Albert was throwing around this tiny soccer ball. Daddy may have thrown the soccer ball to/at him. Beginning in April, the oldest two kids started spring soccer. Sometimes, we were cold. Tyler was one of the assistant coaches (kid wrangler) for Addilyn's team. The herd of puppies!

Thursday, July 24, 2014. This post is only 20 days late. For the Fourth, we went downtown to watch the Navy Pier fireworks. We set up on a hill just off the Lakeshore trail.
