This was the most fun I've ever had sending out cards because we were announcing the new baby! It was hard to keep it a secret but it was worth it when I got to send these out! Saturday, September 3, 2011. In all of Eric's spare time (ha! He's been working on refinishing our kitchen cabinets. I LOVE how they turned out. It was a lot of work for him but he did a great job. He added beadboard to the panels and a piece of trim to finish it, and added crown moulding. Let me remind you of the lovely before:. And here they are now! There is beadboard on all the doors but it was hard to get a good picture. Oh and out my window you can see the neighbor's beautiful new house color!

Eric and I have gone every year since we've been married so I was excited to continue the tradition with Alivia. It turned a little cold (in the 60s) so we bundled up. I needed to make treats for Madeline's Brownie Troop and of course didn't come up with a plan before I left for the store. Ok, truth be told I forgot I had signed up for snacks this month and was at the store the day before and didn't know what to make. Lindsey to the rescue! Sunday, June 28, 2009. My Favorite Video of the trip! Hello From the Kings! Links to this post. So we are finally home and in our own bed. It took us a while to get there but it sure feels good. Our last night was spent in Rainier National Park. And thanks to our OP [old person] we camped for $6. What a steal. It was actually my favorite camp spot of the trip. Sadly we didn't get there til almost dark and we left around 10 so we didn't get to spend much time there. I think it was about 2 miles round trip!

School was cancelled Wednesday and Thursday and the kids are loving every second of it! We didn't get any new snow over night but I did just look out to see that it is at it again. Friday, January 20, 2012. Ok snow day one = tons of fun. Snow day two = still fun but kids a little cranky. What will snow day three bring? That's right. We are starting the third day of no school. The kids aren't up yet but I am pretty sure Madels will be sad to hear that school is closed because she will have to miss gymnastics and Jude will probably be thrilled to have another day of fun. And I, well I don't know. We will see. And the kids snarfed them. We had lots of fun making snow ice cream too!

Last weekend she got to "compete" in her first gymnastics meet. It was super cute and very fun for her. She loves to perform and did an amazing job. Friday, December 30, 2011. Christmas time is here! Eric and I have had a very festive holiday season this year! Mine was sprinkled with a capella joys with the Jingle Belles and Beaux and the Dickens Carolers, and Eric's was lifted to new heights with Orlando Balloon Rides and even a hang gliding experience at Wallaby Ranch!
