We drove 40 hours in the car and finally arrived in Seattle last Monday, May 28. It was long but both kids and animals did very well! Other than the chilly temps and gray skies we really love Seattle so far! It is so green, lush, and beautiful that once we adjust to the climate, I am sure we will be spending a lot of time outside! I'm learning a lot about the company and I have great hopes for a long partnership at this company. I anticipate advancing professionally within the company structure. I also intend to resume my languages training from my college days. We have facilities in many different countries and I am intrigued by the possibilities.

Don't pinch me if I'm dreaming. Tuesday, January 15, 2008. After a strange winter "hiatus" that brought 62 degrees and sunshine, the snow has returned as a reminder that it is indeed still January. The natural order of the seasons has been restored and all is well with the world once again. It has been snowing steadily since yesterday morning. We aren't yet approaching the 48 inches for which Levi continually prays, but it's enough to require boots and to cause road hazards. Links to this post.
