At some point while the Redskins were practicing in Richmond, Eric decided to go watch them and sneak in. Once he got in, a security guard kicked him out. He decided that he would go to his car, get a shirt he had "just in case" he got the chance to meet RG III, and sneak right back in. Which he did, and he definitely got his signature. And then I drove down to Palo Alto with Tob and Rand to see where they live. I fell in love with their town! Apple picking in Charlottesville! A hint of honey.

Here is the October photo dump:. Eric did a tour of the dental school with the young men's crew. The awesome thing about having some of our best friends in DC and Chapel Hill is meeting up for the weekend! They both drove to Richmond and we had a blast showing them around.We went to the Brunswick Stew festival downtown and took the ferry boat onto the River. Some of our favorite spots in Virginia (to help us remember! Pricey. Good bread to start, really good dishes like goat cheese stuffed chicken and yummy scallops. Little pot pies filled with different things. Cheap ($5-6), fun food! Loved the pork and apple pot pie. We loved everything we got- the very best is the CHICKEN AND WAFFLES! They have a happy hour with half off a bunch of appetizers. Very Richmondy experience. Nice dinner spot, best fried green tomatoes and loved their short ribs/chicken dish.

Wednesday, October 16, 2013. Fall break has never been needed more than it was this year. with all of Layton's studying and my working. it was time for a BREAK. we went to virginia beach with three other couples and had such a blast. the weather turned out to be beautiful! We swam in the ocean, flew a kite, went hot tubbing, crab catching, layed out for hours on the sand, and just relaxed!
