We had a weekend in Terre Haute, Indiana with Eric's family and then drove to the Philadelphia area for the week. Some of the highlights were:. Almost sleeping at a rest stop in Ohio, due to full hotels because of the storms. Driving through the mountains of PA and MD. Crayola Experience-ended up with more crayons then I could imagine! Independence Hall and The Liberty Bell.

It all started last year when Shane thought he might want a turkey fryer (for frying turkey) and I thought I might want a turkey fryer (to can with because we have a ceramic cooktop that is BAD for canning). So we bought a fryer, invited a bunch of friends over, and fried a turkey! It was such a hit (and I still hadn't used the fryer for canning a single thing) so we had another one! In the fall of 2006 as we were transitioning to Indianapolis with Macabean and I in the apartment and Shane working on selling the Bloomington house, we have taken a day (or two), and enjoyed a fall "date day". Date day usually involves lunch, apple and pumpkin picking, sneaking kisses in the beautiful canopy of fall colors and generally just being outside in the cool, crispy air. Must have done something right. Happy Valentine’s Day. Eric really surprised me this year! He sent me gifts to my office both Thursday AND Friday. A dozen red roses! He made me feel so loved! He also gave me 3 very sweet notes and took me out for dinner. And at dinner he sat on the same side with me and held my hand. Same siders! Haha We sipped coffee and talked for 2 hours! It was a very relaxing weekend, low-key weekend. 5 years, 6 months ago. 8230;no, i’m not pregnant. He said they were from the dogs!
