Nana's Notes: April 2011
http://nanaslittlenotes.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Saturday, April 16, 2011. I'm still hanging around Jerseyland! Our son definitely has Follicular Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. His doctor here says that at the moment no treatment is required or necessary but they will keep an eye on things. He has to go back in six months for another ct scan for comparison. In the meantime, his doctor has suggested Matthew see a lymphoma specialist over in Philly for a second opinion. We have an appointment on May 2nd at Fox Chase Cancer Center. I just planted some pansies bec...

Nana's Notes: March 2011
http://nanaslittlenotes.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Tuesday, March 29, 2011. In like a lion. The saying "March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb" sure is true around here and not just in regard to the weather. DH and I arrived in NJ on the Sunday the 6th, two days prior to our son having an operation on his back. The operation on the 8th went well, or so it seemed. Obviously, he was in lots of pain but that was to be expected. What wasn't expected was that he would need a second operation. Another operation to fix it! Tuesday, March 29, 2011.

Nana's Notes: June 2011
http://nanaslittlenotes.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
Monday, June 13, 2011. I'm thinking of quitting this blogging thing. First of all, I haven't kept up with it very much and when I do, I don't usually have anything worthwhile to say. Second, I don't think anyone reads it anyway - except you, Dawn. But, then, on the other hand, if at some point I decide to participate in Blog Hops at OWH. I was never very good at keeping up-to-date with my diary when I was a young girl either! June 8th I went for my six month checkup and everything is fine! The TN grans s...

Saturday, September 10, 2011. September 11, 2001 is one of those days that you will always remember where you were and what you were doing when you first heard the news - just like those of us who were around then remember when President Kennedy was assassinated or our parents and/or grandparents when Pearl Harbor was attacked. These kinds of days are burned into our hearts and memories forever. Was our country under attack? For those of us who were alive that day, September 11th will never be known as "...

Nana's Notes: Trying New Things
http://nanaslittlenotes.blogspot.com/2012/03/trying-new-things.html
Friday, March 30, 2012. Well, I did it! I fell for the Pinterest. Not without some help, though. I found it a little confusing but with my DD's help, I got the hang of it! Actually, it's pretty cool and I'm enjoying searching for things to pin! I like seeing what others have pinned. It took me awhile to get onto Facebook a few years ago, but now that's old hat! Having a blog was another new thing to me until my daughters talked me into it! Friday, March 30, 2012. Just a thought. Love you! Http:/ www....

Nana's Notes: July 2013
http://nanaslittlenotes.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
Thursday, July 11, 2013. The Most Powerful Weapon. In the fight against trafficking the most powerful weapon we have is prayer! In fact, it's the most powerful weapon we can use against any form of evil. I must admit, though, that there are times I get so overwhelmed by the idea of young children being used as sex slaves that I just don't know what to pray. That is when I remember Romans 8:26-27. I believe with all my heart that prayer can and does change things! So, pray, pray, pray! Http:/ www.ends...

Nana's Notes: Chemo Brain or ???
http://nanaslittlenotes.blogspot.com/2012/03/chemo-brain-or.html
Monday, March 5, 2012. It's hard to tell for me since I'm of the age where it's hard to remember my name sometimes! I've forgotten words that I've been trying to think of or sometimes even names of people I know but then they always eventually come to me. This is a natural thing that happens when you get to a certain age or so they say! I had left the car running! I had no clue or remembrance of it! I didn't say anything to my friend cause I felt so dumb! I'm keeping a record of these things in case I ne...
