June 5th and training ramps up (by way of going down slightly) today. Shooting for a 30 mile week and I’ll peak (hopefully) at 75 to 80. Todays stats –. 275 miles, 32:13:61, 11:44 pace and HR averaged at 120bpm. with 221 calories burned. Today was a bonus run – supposed to be rest but as long as I feel strong I’ll throw in some extra! The plan this week is pretty simple. 1 Move the rope skipping warm-up to 150 reps. Now, if I could get the coordination thing down and keep my feet out of the way of the rope. 2 Double jerks 16kg – 6 reps per minute for 6:00. 3 Snatch 16kg – 14 reps per minute for 8:00, one hand switch. 0:00 – 06:00.
