We may not have it all together, but together we have it all! Friday, October 4, 2013. Lil' Miss and Mister Wrangler Contest. Every year, for our county fair, they have a Lil' Miss and Mister Wrangler contest for kids ages 3 to 5. The past two years I have thought, 'man, I should have had Stetson do that! Finally this year we did, and Lucy got to do it too! I was actually surprised at how nervous they got, especially Lucy! Despite that, they both stepped up and did a GREAT job! Sang "I'm a Little Cowgirl".

We may not have it all together, but together we have it all! Sunday, September 22, 2013. The 2013 Black Family Reunion was July 4-5 at Grandma and Grandpa's new cabin. It was so awesome to have ALL of the family there. I sure got lucky to marry into this family! I love them all! The cabin at Devil's Canyon (not quite finished outside). The highlight of the reunion was installing the new playground equipment from the old Walter C. Lyman park. The grandkids (and Grandma) were super excited! Now I want one!

When we first bought this house, the backyard was a scary place, especially if you were trying to mow what little grass and weeds would grow under these two ginormous Elm trees. The Good Ole Days. One Boy, One Girl. The Story of Ellie. Wednesday, April 16, 2014. We chose a smaller, less popular plan that we could customize (walk in pantry, mud room with bench and closet, custom wall-to-wall bookshelves in the main room, walk in closet, wood burning fireplace, extra unfinished storage downstairs, etc.) Truly our builder is likely to be SO happy we aren't calling with any more changes! We may not have it all together, but together we have it all! Thursday, October 11, 2012. I can't believe Stetson is already FIVE years old! This birthday was special because it fell on a Wednesday, the very day of the week that Stetson was born. I set my alarm for 5:05 am, which is the time he was born. I didn't have the heart to wake him up that early, but it was nice to take a minute and remember that special day, 5 years ago. The birthday boy in the crown he got from preschool. Lucy LOVES the swing.
