Day #7 - the little things. I was already planning on wrapping up this adventure listing all the little things. As I sit here with a pounding headache and two kiddos that seemed to have forgotten the meaning of the quiet and calm game, I really need to focus on this list. Here it goes. No particular order. And maybe without explanation. Some of them just won't need it. Facebook (to keep somewhat connected). Email (for all those coupons). Racecar themed grocery carts. I may come out of hiding. I realized this morning I have done one post since the end of April. That was Andrew's broken collar bone, which is healed and left him with a nice size bone mass in his shoulder. I haven't completely been hiding but can't make myself sit down long enough to write. I am hoping this will change. The beginning of June we drove to Baton Rouge to see my family that I have not seen in years, some of them almost 20! We ended June with Kathryn's Strawberry Shortcake 4th Birthday Party.

Since it is such a gorgeously warm day outside, so much so that school was cancelled out of concern for having the students turn into icicles, I have a bit of "extra" time as the kiddos are occupying themselves and I don't have to think about transporting the kids. Andrew at 2 is 29 pounds and 35-3/4". I think he is closer to 36", but we'll go with what the doctor said. For comparison, Kathryn was 27 pounds and 35". We celebrated at the Great Wolf Lodge with the Waugh side of the family. We then had cake and balloons in Georgia with the Payne side. No big party, just celebrations. We may even have another one Saturday night with us. Still haven't given him the present from us. Happy Birthday to my little cuddle bug! Oh, my little stinkers. Gotta love them!
