January 7, 2009. And then it was over. We had a great New Year's Eve night with our good friends Katy and Andy. We went over to their house and again shared some great food and great wine! Hmmm seems to be a trend! I'm going to gain 100 lbs living here! There were 8 adults and 10 kids and believe it or not the kids were not that loud! We had four days together at convention which was wonderful, then we went to Yellowstone for a couple days. The kids had a great time together! This is the kids waiting for "Old Faithful". July 20, 2008. A fun day at sea. So that was a fun difference! We then sailed for 2 1/2 hours to a little island off of St Maarten called Tintamarre. Once there we swam and played on the beach and also got a great mud bath! This is my third time to the island so my 3rd mud bath.but its so great and makes your skin so soft! April 23, 2008. Just a quick post to let everyone know that the semester is finally over and Dave sailed through with flying colors! We are 4th semester.plus a little! I'm so proud of him he did amazing! A little bit of other news, our internet has been out for over a week and will continue to be out for an undetermined amount of time! Dave's parents arrive today and we are so excited! Then next Thursday Maria, Julie, and Shelly arrive! Whoppppeeee a lot to look forward too.so I have to go! April 9, 2008.

Friday, August 1, 2008. With summer comes outdoor activites-right? Well, Ryan, having the luck he has, ended up falling off the pool later and breaking his wrist! Another July with a cast. Last year was his ankle. Luckily neither break was bad. He was only in a cast this time for 2 weeks. However, two days earlier, he got his full set of braces on! Can you imagine a 6 year old with braces? Ryan really hasn't had great luck here these last couple summers, has he? Is he really going to be in 2nd grade?

Friday, August 1, 2008. Up North in Crosslake, MN. Nat fell off the dock. Colin hit 3 cars in one stroke playing minigolf. Ryan caught 4 sunnies, Colin got 1 northern. We had ice cream cones with surprise jellybeans at the bottom. Aren't weekends at the cabin the best? Our kids are building some great memories! August 1, 2008 at 8:07 PM.
