Sunday, November 4, 2012. We had a fun Halloween this year. Kendall was going to be Batgirl until the last minute when she changed her mind and decided to be Minnie Mouse. We found out later that it was because her best friend was also Minnie Mouse. (We already had both costumes, so I let it go) =) Dane was steadfast in his decision to be Spiderman. He played the role well! They had a ton of fun running together from door to door and brought home a pretty nice haul. Spiderman scaring poor Minnie Mouse.

Monday, April 30, 2012. Kendall celebrated her 6th birthday this weekend with a small party of friends and family. She was surprised by her cousins Reid, Griffin, and Jadyn and her Aunt and Uncle Leah and Jeff. Thanks to all who made it. It was a fun night. Its hard to believe that our baby is 6 already! Dane, wild as ever. Cousins and "besties" Kendall and Reid. The newest addition to the clan.Avery being held by Grandma Green Bay. The rest of the Lutz family (minus big cousins Rylee and Adam).

Tuesday, May 24, 2011. This weekend we surprised the kids with a trip to the Great Wolf Lodge in Wisconsin Dells. Dane's 3rd birthday is on Saturday and since we didn't have a party planned for him, we decided to do something fun as a family. It turned out to be a really great time. Wednesday, February 15, 2012. Last weekend, we made another trip to The Great Wolf Lodge in Wisconsin Dells. We had a much needed fun family get-away to celebrate David being done with his busy season (at least partially). The kids loved it and ask to go back every day. Kendall has decided that she wants to live there. Dane kept swallowing water and coughing, so we told him to close his mouth. This is what he looked like all of the time in the water. Kendall looks like she is going to get taken out.

Monday, October 31, 2011. Happy Halloween from the Havilands! The kids wanted to be Daphne and Fred from Scooby Doo this year. I found Daphne at Target, but had to order Fred online. Two days ago, I got a message from the website that said they weren't sending it. Thank you to Paula who saved the day and let us borrow her Scooby costume as well as the rest of the gang =). Thursday, June 9, 2011. Tuesday marked a special day for the Haviland household. Kendall started her first team sport! When we first told her about it a couple of months ago, she was very timid about it and not too interested. But, when the day arrived, she was very excited! Dane was VERY disappointed that he didn't get to take part in T-ball. He spent most of the time saying, "Mama, my turn," "Mama, Dane's turn to play T-ball? So, mama took him to the park for a while to get his mind off of it.

Monday, July 2, 2012. We were lucky enough to get an invitation from our neighbors and friends, the Hubbards, to join them on a day trip to the Wilderness. It was a perfect day and we all had a great time. Who knew the draw that the baby swings would have on our "school-agers! All of the kids loved jumping through the waterfall.
