Where defense is two on five. Week #9: Hannah is going on a mission! We went to Selah for Hannah's (Jason's niece) mission farewell. Hannah gave a great talk about her decision to serve a mission. Where defense is two on five. Week #30:Beards, Mustaches, and Dead Batteries. We stopped by to visit the Chapman's and Lainey charmed her way into painting her nails with Whitney. I'm not sure what. Lainey was thinking as she flashed her I-love-you signs,. Whitney went along with it. We made another trip to Mattawa to work on the ranch house. This time we installed new toilets. Just trying it out. :). The view as we headed home from Mattawa. Sigh! I do love the sky over the wide open spaces of farm land.

Thursday, March 6, 2014. These little kiddos were pretty proud of their balloons and couldn't wait for Papa to catch them. The big launch:1,2,3 "Happy Birthday Dad/Son/Papa/Steve". And up to Heaven they went. Although it was very cold the snow stopped falling just long enough for us to launch the balloons before starting again. It was a perfect moment. After we could no longer see the balloons we ate dinner and this delicious cookies and cream fudge cake I made. It was so good! And so did Nana.
