August 12, 2014. This first month I am going to write about a fairly common and simple design pattern, the adapter pattern. In software development the adapter pattern is very similar to my iPhone charging cord. The situation where you use the adapter pattern is if you have a class that is expecting a certain interface, and you have a second class that implements a different interface. If the user was on a desktop computer they could just click the next and previous buttons to go to the next or previous screens.
