In the sixties I received my bachelor of science degree (psychology major) from the City University of New York, (CUNY) Brooklyn. I continued on to a two-year graduate certificate course in School Psychology. I then completed the first year of a two-year Phd program in Counselling at The Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE) before changing career direction. Over the years I’ve received certificates in Mediation/Conflict Resolution, and Sexology. I charge $60 an hour.

I grew up in post war Brooklyn, the child of parents who’d survived the Great Depression by holding on to their jobs as school teachers. The idea of working for oneself terrifying them so I followed my parental tapes for decades Get your degree and then you can do anything you want. The ‘greatest country in the world’? Along the way I made a half dozen recordings, most of which won Parent's Choice awards and Juno nominations. I authored three children's books. All contents 2011 Eric Nagler.

I’ve played Tales from the Attic to rousing applause, tears, laughter and appreciation. For me it's an honour to share my vulnerability and spin a connection of common humanity from me to you. To paint images of war-torn. To describe a mystical experience witnessing Martin Luther King laying out his dream for us.

I don’t need a HAI workshop. Folks sometimes tell me, “A HAI workshop? Thanks but I don't need one.” I guess they see a HAI workshop as a means to curing them of a condition and they don’t need fixing. But fixing people is rarely HAI's job. Don’t I think I’m worth it?
