Tales and images from the life of a triathlete. Saturday, May 2, 2009. Landers and I did make it out for a pretty decent ride on Thursday evening. It was a bit chilly, but great to get out and spin the legs - especially with Landers since we haven't really riden together much this spring. We didn't kill ourselves, and enjoyed a nice after work ride. He's getting significantly better, and I'm confident he will continue to do so as the Bicycle Tour of Colorado. Sunday, January 31, 2010. Not so New Year's Resolution. Started back at the 5:30 am A IM. Monday 25th: 10,9,8,7,.1. 1 circuit repeated with 10 reps of each exercise, then 9 reps, then 8, etc down to 1 rep trying to increase weight on the way down the reps. There were so many people at this workout that no matter what, I ended up waiting between sets and I had to leave for the bus at rep 2. It was still so tough. Monday, March 29, 2010. What Grade is that Climb? Because I'm kind of sick and wanted to learn more about the Marathon and the 17 mile "fun run" that happens on the trail we hiked last week, I went back and looked a bit closer at the website for the run. This is what I found about the climbs of late day 1 and all of day 2 of our trip. Max elev. 2028 ft Min elev. 1023 ft Climbing Gain 4600 ft. Climbing distance 7.10 mi Avg Grade 12%. Nice So the marathon involves all these climbs- twice? Links to this post.

I am writing a quick update rather than a novel. 1 My achilles is still there. It doesn't hurt, but it doesn't feel 100%. I've run 2.5 miles in the past month, and am dying to run.
