Powers of Four in C# / ericw.ca Eric Woroshow
http://ericw.ca/notes/powers-of-four-in-csharp.html
Powers of Four in C# 17 Sep 2010. I recently implemented a function in C# to check if an unsigned integer is a power of four as a part of my new game and I wanted to share two possible implementations. The first relies on the fact that a power of four (1) has only a single bit set and (2) has an even number of zero bits after the one. For 32-bit unsigned integers we can employ some bit manipulation to acheive the same effect, by checking that we have a power of two that is also a power of four.
Bresenham's Line Algorithm in C# / ericw.ca Eric Woroshow

Bresenham's Line Algorithm in C# 20 May 2010. I recently implemented Bresenham’s line algorithm. In C# as part of a new game I am developing. I thought I would share my implementation. I particularly like the interface of returning the points on the line as an IEnumerable. Swap x0 and y0. Swap x1 and y1. Swap x0 and x1. Swap y0 and y1. Code under MIT license.
Peg Solitaire / ericw.ca Eric Woroshow
http://ericw.ca/projects/pegsolitaire.html
I have always enjoyed peg solitaire. The goal is to remove all the pieces from the board. You remove a piece by jumping over it on to an empty tile. You cannot jump diagonally. Simple rules but a difficult problem! I wrote my own version of the game which you can play below. Might take some time to load). The game is written in Java using the excellent (but now defunct) PulpCore. I also created the art for the game. It's adapted from High King but I had to redraw everything for its new size.

Maze / ericw.ca Eric Woroshow
http://ericw.ca/projects/maze.html
For generating random mazes is great. It is particularly clever in that the algorithm generates mazes row by row without storing the entire maze in memory. If your browser supports it you should see a maze and its solution below. I generate solutions for the mazes using Dijkstra's algorithm. I implemented both algorithms in Javascript. Reloading the page will generate a new maze. The code is available in Mercurial. Under an MIT license. Code under MIT license.

Walnut Creek, CA. I'm a 24 year old professional web/UI/UX developer living in Walnut Creek, California. Right now I work full-time for a software company and I manage a business on the side while I finish school so productivity and efficiency is the name of the game.
