Erika is losing it. And she's ready to change her life. Tuesday, July 1, 2014. Dreams come true- but hopefully not all of them. It was a few weeks ago when I woke up in a cold sweat. I could not shake this dream. I'm always sort of jealous of people who have vivid dream lives- I've never been one of them. I rarely remember my dreams. But this one hasn't left me yet. Erika is losing it. And she's ready to change her life. Friday, August 23, 2013. Loud and not proud. Excuse me while I dust off the cobwebs. Hi, friends. Yes, it's been since June since I've blogged. Yes, I'm still struggling. Yes, I'm still trying. Besides my weight gain, and my clothes not fitting the way I'd like, I think I'm most bothered by my emotional state. I find myself, more and more, choosing food over events. Over people. Over everything. All parts of the old me who keep creeping up again.

A Glimpse at the Grubbs. Sunday, September 25, 2011. Happy 9th Birthday to my Addison today! We had such a fun day! We started off by birthday shopping with the girls-Grandma, Nonnie, Addison, Avery and Mom.we shopped then had lunch at The Cheesecake Factory. So good! We came home and everyone played until dinner outside and cake! It was a perfect day for our sweet, sweet girl! Avery had just as much fun shopping and got a feather in her hair too and just as much as the bday girl! 9 is going to be so fun!

A Glimpse at the Grubbs. Friday, October 19, 2012. We had Monday off of school so it was the perfect day to go to the pumpkin patch! We loaded up and headed to Uncle Shuck's with the Clarks. The weather was perfect and we had the whole place to ourselves. We did two different corn mazes, a 3 1/2 mile one and a mile one. We got pretty good at it by the end! The little boys were troopers! After the mazes we relaxed and took a hayride out to see the pumpkins. Fun was had by all! View my complete profile.
