John J. Walsh IV. A Painter of Words. Of Sirens and Sand. Posted by John J. Walsh IV. Two years ago, during the late, January nights of 2009, I spent many hours in front of the computer composing poetry in the digital company of Martin Abel. 8220;The Machinist”. This is my lab, my workshop,. My private world of peace,. Filled with cogs and gears. Full of grime and grease. Black soot covers the walls. And gray ash litters the floor,. Byproducts of mad mother science,. That grand desire to build evermore!

John J. Walsh IV. A Painter of Words. Of Sirens and Sand. Saturday, April 23, 2011 – In the Shadow of the Sail. Posted by John J. Walsh IV. Though the sun shines brightly, it is frigid in the shadow of the sail, this cold, disheartening reality lying in such stark contrast to the free-spirited verse of many a poetic constructor, I amongst their naive flock. 8220;You don’t belong here,” it states. “No human was meant to traverse such a treacherous thing.”. Happy Halloween! | John J. Walsh IV
http://www.johnjwalshiv.com/2011/10/31/happy-halloween
John J. Walsh IV. A Painter of Words. Of Sirens and Sand. Posted by John J. Walsh IV. How I have longed the year-round for this eve, when death and life are made one, as youthful celebration grants joyous immortality. Eternal are our souls, given that we ever once lived, ever once loved, ever once felt the cool of autumn air upon our cheeks. For though the jack-o’-lantern’s light flickers and vanishes into but a wisp, its memory still burns bright, even through darkest night. Please leave a Comment.

From a clinical standpoint, what was the tipping point for ophthalmic surgeons moving from extracap cataract removal to the small incision phaco surgery? When did the then-gold-standard beta-blockers move over for prostaglandins to become first-line treatment for glaucoma? Old techniques and treatments make way for innovation. Why would the management of the ophthalmic practice be any different?

When I was in the 2. I couldn t say the word, but architecture was already under my skin. And many years later, that is what I have become. And it is still under my skin. That innate desire to help create space from nothing. The ability to see space in 3D from our minds eye or a 2D drawing and all the nuts and bolts, bits and pieces and ductwork and plumbing that goes into it.
